Stock H2 vs Mild Port w/34mm Carb
A friend of mine came into my garage the other day, with is bone stock (minus
snorkel) square cut H2F 1811.
He wanted more power, but also wanted to keep the stock pipes.
I tried out another port work than usual, using 2 base gaskets and no head gaskets, vm34 sledge carbs, 69% width exhaust with same square profile as I use to.
Stock heads. 72mm bore, Wiseco.
I kept the exhaust duration almost stock (only 1mm lift in total) total lift for transfers: 0,75mm
Inlet duration is stock (compensated the 0,5mm cylinder lift)
