more angular and thin, resembling the H1 tank. Side cover- Metal on H1/H2, plastic on S -series. All have displacement badge on both sides. "Large" size. Oil Tank- Internal plastic, behind right side cover.. |
Decals/Logos | Both sides of tank have "Kawasaki" inside a sharp point ended shape with pin stripes |

Motor Bottom End | Slotted big end on H1/H2 rods. Unconventional (none down five up) shifting pattern on H series, normal (one down four up) on S-series. |
Wheels/Tires/Brakes | Chromed steel fenders. |
Instruments | Grouped together in a pod, white numerals, circular sun visors. |
Switches | Black housings. Choke is located on left switch assembly, holds open by friction adjustment. |
Steering Damper | Oil type, connects to frame/triple clamp bracket. |
Cables | Black nylon coated. |
Miscellaneous | Chain guard painted black, solid. Exhaust same shape as '74 models. |
